The Liberty Awards were created as a Celebration of Achievement, to recognize outstanding individuals who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Leadership, Innovation, Intelligence, Excellence, Risk Taking, Teamwork, and Dedication to Our Cable and Telecommunications Industry.

On November 1st, this year’s honorees and presenters delivered inspiring remarks to a standing room only crowd of industry colleagues, family and friends at the Bellevue Park Hyatt over the hotels delicious signature high tea.

The Comcast Network’s Connie Colla once again expertly facilitated an evening of video testimonials, personal stories and anecdotes from colleagues, and speeches from our honorees which provided an intimate view into their personal career journeys and experiences that have helped them achieve success and inspired them to reach back and mentor the future leaders of our industry.

2007 Board President, Susan Honness, highlighted some of the critical advocacy initiatives and professional development programs that WICT developed this year both nationally and locally including our highly successful mentoring program and completion of nine special events and programs which provided members with excellent networking and educational opportunities.

Liberty Award winners were then presented to the following honorees by their distinguished colleagues as follows:
