CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap Screening

December 7, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Comcast Center

unknownHave women been marginalized in the U.S.’s male-dominated tech sector and is American popular culture partly to blame?

CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap
is a documentary that exposes some of the startling facts about how women have been marginalized in the U.S.’s male-dominated tech sector. The film argues that American popular culture is partly to blame for suggesting men are better than women at computer science. CODE also asks: what would society gain from having more women and minorities code and how do we get there?
