Throughout the month of March, visitors are invited to participate in a crowd-sourced portrait exhibit highlighting female role models. NLM is calling on people from across the globe to celebrate the women who have made an impact on their lives. From renowned Heroines of Liberty such as Rosa Parks, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Malala Yousafzai, to everyday heroes such as mothers, aunts, colleagues, and neighbors, we invite people to celebrate the heroines in their lives by participating in our interactive photo exhibit. Bring a portrait of a female role model in your life, with a note or story on the back letting others know how your heroine has made a positive impact on your life.
Participants can get involved in one of two ways: 1) Visit NLM and attach your portrait in our interactive exhibit; or 2) Mail your portrait to NLM and a staff member will be glad to include it in our exhibit. Please bring photos that will not need to be returned. Also, please note that any photo or portrait submitted becomes the property of NLM, which can be used for marketing and promotional purposes.
