About the panelists:
Karen Diamond is the Vice President of Strategic Accounts for pureIntegration. As the lead of the Strategic Accounts division Karen oversees the growth and development of clients across healthcare & life sciences, energy & utilities, insurance, and communications & media industries. In her two years with pureIntegration Karen has been integral in the growth into new accounts, doubling new account revenue from 2018 to 2019.
Karen has over a decade and a half of consulting and management experience, prior to pureIntegration growing her career at The Advisory Board Company (now Optum) in their business development division (healthcare) and Accenture, where she focused in the communications and media industry. Karen holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from James Madison University.
In addition to her career, Karen is an active volunteer, serving as the fundraising chair for the Gladney Center for Adoption National Capital Area Board of Directors, on the board of directors of the Alexandria Lacrosse Club, and as the chair of the all school fundraiser for the Saint Stephens Saint Agnes School (SSSAS), an independent Episcopal coed private college preparatory school in Alexandria, Virginia.
Karen’s most important job is mom to her six children; Bethany, Ashley, Nicholas, Holly, Olivia and Brent and two dogs Autumn and Izzy, and wife to her husband David.
Comcast Corporation announced today that Candy Lawson has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, and Senior Deputy General Counsel.
In this role, she is responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing the company’s internal policies, procedures, and compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts domestically and internationally across Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Sky. She reports to Tom Reid, Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Comcast Corporation.
“Candy has an impressive record of providing strategic compliance and legal risk guidance to boards of directors and executive management teams at multinational companies,” said Mr. Reid. “Her extensive experience and expertise will make her an outstanding leader of our strong compliance team.”
Prior to joining Comcast, Ms. Lawson was Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Group Chief Compliance Officer at 21st Century Fox, where she advised on compliance matters, including strategies, policies and procedures to mitigate risk across all areas of the business. Following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company last year, Ms. Lawson was appointed to lead The Walt Disney Company’s international compliance team, including overseeing the integration and implementation of compliance policies. Ms. Lawson joined 21st Century Fox from News Corporation where she was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Group Chief Compliance Officer, EMEA and Asia. Prior to that, she was the anti-corruption counsel for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Morgan Stanley.
Ms. Lawson earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. She will be based in London and also work at Comcast’s headquarters in Philadelphia.
Dana Wilson is the SVP of Reliability Engineering Excellence. In this role, Dana is responsible for driving and improving all processes across Comcast specific to change, incident, problem, and asset management. In addition, she manages Transformation and Business Operations for Reliability Engineering.
She joined Comcast in 2011, and has held various roles of increasing leadership responsibility in the organization, most recently as Vice President, Customer Experience Assurance. Throughout her career at Comcast, she has been instrumental in transforming the customer experience, both through product delivery, including overseeing the 2012 and 2014 Olympics experience, as well as simplifying processes in how we interact with our customers.
Dana Wilson is a graduate of Drexel University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. During her professional tenure, Dana has obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification which reflects her expertise in leading and executing initiatives within an organization that is focused on driving high performance and customer centric transformation.
Marge Jackson is a senior executive with a 20-year proven track record of sales, marketing & care operations experience for Comcast HQ Sales and Marketing team. Marge has oversight for sales strategy for more than 3k Inbound and outbound sales agents, handling over 12 million calls annually across 16+ call centers. Marge is responsible for setting the strategic vision to deliver a superior customer sales experience, build customer loyalty, and drive sales growth and revenue through people, processes, tools, and technology. Specifically, Marge partners with divisions and region leaders to align customer and sales strategies with corporate goals and drives major initiatives across the enterprise.
In her previous role, Marge Jackson was Vice President Customer Care Sales & Retention West Division. In this role, she had oversight for customer experience sales and loyalty strategy. Marge was responsible for the development of a unified sales and retention strategy. Her primary focus was on centralizing and standardizing compensation plans, call routing strategies, scorecard performance metrics, and agent development. Marge joined Comcast in 1998 as a direct sales representative for Comcast Online and went on to hold a host of positions in the field across all 3 divisions with increasing responsibility.
Marge continues to be recognized by peers and colleagues as an industry leader and top woman/minority in business. She was named to Multichannel News’ “40 Under 40” list, Most Influential Leaders and was honored by NJ Biz as one of its “50 Best Women in Business.” Jackson was one of only 30 candidates selected for the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communication’s (NAMIC) Executive Leadership Development Program, was a recipient of NAMIC’s “Next Generation Leaders” award and was selected as one of CableFax’s “Most Powerful Woman in Cable.” Jackson is also a graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership Forum (ELF), an active member of CTAM and WICT, a graduate of WICT’s prestigious Betsy Magness Leadership Institute as a Class of XVII fellow, a graduate of the Comcast Woman Leadership program at Wharton University, and most recently a graduate of the CTAM Executive Program at Harvard University.
