WICT Executive Leadership Series:
Executive Leadership Presence
September 30, 2020
Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego, CA

Executive Leadership Presence, one of two workshops in WICT’s Executive Development Series, is designed for mid-career cable professional women to develop Leadership Presence as a means to inspire confidence, engage and influence others, and maintain productivity while increasing visibility and career mobility.

This two-day program will introduce participants to a unique framework and toolkit of 21 specific attributes, skills and thought processes that work together to help them build the knowledge and skills needed to:

  • Project strong executive presence.
  • Create powerful, high-impact first impressions.
  • Achieve a “Confident Casual®” style in both formal presentations and impromptu communications.
  • Build and maintain a reputation for strong executive presence and a value-based leadership brand.

During the program, each element of the Executive Presence Management System is presented sequentially, from inner self to ultimate external manifestation. Finally, participants practice bringing all elements together to convey the “Confident Casual®” target (the ability to convey complementary messaging that is both strategic and visionary, while also engaging hearts/emotions in the processes), are videotaped, and receive feedback from their peers and our professional coaches.

The event is 2 days running from September 30, 2020 – October 1, 2020

What’s included: Airfare, Hotel and Uber/Taxi transportation to/from airport

WICT Executive Development Series:
Leading with Power and Authenticity
September 30, 2020
Rancho Bernardo Inn, San Diego, CA

Who should attend:

EDS is for mid-career professionals who aspire to advance to the VP level and beyond. It is an ideal stepping stone in-between WICT’s Rising Leaders Program and the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI).

Key takeaways:

  • Incorporate a new sense of self-awareness into your leadership development plan.
  • Identify your key values and patterns of success that are compatible with your work style.
  • Align your priorities with work behaviors.
  • Build a strong support system for professional and personal resiliency.

A panel discussion, integrated into the learning experience, will address personal and professional journeys of industry leaders. While touching on the current state of the industry and expectations for the future, panelists will also share personal insights into the skills required for overcoming obstacles to achieve success in the workplace.

On the final day, you will develop a tailored action plan that draws upon what you learned from the program’s lectures, group exercises, peer feedback and deeply personal reflection.

This is a 2 1/2 day seminar that runs from September 30, 2020 – October 2, 2020
