Tamara Houston is a seasoned business professional with over 20 years in Corporate Accounting and Finance. She is a talented Leader at a Fortune 50 company and is well versed in various facets of her Financial career having the ability to develop and train employees to become the best them. She believes that given the right support and environment, individuals can produce phenomenal results.
Her background entails studying at Rowan College with a concentration in Accounting. She also holds a Certificate in Computerized Accounting. She has served as the board of Secretary for NAMIC, National Association of Multicultural In Cable, a nonprofit organization which develops professional career growth. She is currently serving her third term on the committee for The Women’s Network, an employee resource group at Comcast and her role is the National Liaison. Her previous responsible for The Women’s Network was Professional Development actions. Lastly, is a member of SCTE, Society of Cable Technology and Engineering where she served as Board Treasure for one year. Currently, she remains a board associate for the Southern NJ Chapter.
Outside of Comcast, she is a member of the International Women’s Leadership Association. This association enhances leadership qualities, shares best practices along with provides motivational tips as a female leader. In addition, she is a member of the National Council of Negro Women, a Mary Bethune founded Nonprofit organization that unites people of color and serves the community with education and insight about history.
