Meet Jacqueline! Account Supervisor for Government Programs at Comcast.
What do you do for work and what do you love about it and what is most challenging?
I’m the Accounting Supervisor for the Government Programs team. I love that my job isn’t just a traditional FP&A role, in that I get to interact with our customers on a consistent basis and feel vested in our commitment to providing them a better experience. One of the more challenging aspects of my job is understanding all of the nuances that surround government programs, and the rules and regulations that they are subjected to.
How have other women inspired you or helped shape your career?
I feel inspired by the journeys the women leaders around me have already completed, and how they have inspired me to challenge myself and to seek out additional opportunities outside of my comfort zone.
What is your favorite TV show and/or movie?
My favorite TV show is Game of Thrones, I’m both really excited to see how the series ends and dreading finding a new show to watch.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I’m not originally from the Philadelphia area, I was born in Ohio and have lived in several different areas around Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
What’s your role with WICT? What excites you about this role?
I’m the Jr Board member for operations, I’ve really enjoyed learning about how WICT is run behind the scenes and being able to make an impact within the organization.
Why do you think WICT is important?
I think WICT provides its members with fantastic learning and networking opportunities, which allows their members to grow and develop in areas outside of their day to day jobs.
