Meet Roslyn – Service Delivery Consultant/Account Project Manager at Comcast Business!
Describe your role & what you love about it.
I work for Comcast Business in the Enterprise market. I manage the Comcast National Teleworker program for Fortune 1000+ companies with multiple sites for individuals who work from home. I am responsible for owning the customer experience, issues triage and managing the complete life cycle of projects for over 59,000+ End-Users across the Comcast footprint. What I love about my role is in delighting and delivering an excellent customer experience through the partnerships with our external stakeholders in solving their problems, creating solutions and collaborating with our internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve an outcome that is mutually beneficial. In addition, I recently became a part of a new team within the Enterprise market, as an Account Project Manager. A team focused on client relationship and issues triage for our Broadband and Managed Services customers. Within both roles, it’s an awesome responsibility to help businesses grow their business in the vertical markets we service and be an integral contributor to the growth of Enterprise Business.
How have other women inspired you or helped shape your career?
Other women have inspired and helped shaped my career, through their character, shared beliefs, and call to action in:
- Own your vision and believe in yourself
- Be passionate about what you do and communicate it to others
- Learn powerful lessons from failure, this develops courage
- Don’t accept “No/Can’t”, Create “Yes/Can”
- Share success, it’s not yours to keep, but to give away
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I have a motorcycle license. When I retire, I want to ride the open roads on my trike.
Why do you think WICT is important?
Women have an innate ability to connect and relate with each other. WICT gives a global reach in this community through the Programs, Events, Executive Development Series and Webinars. Building relationships/mentoring and friendships have come out of membership. If you want to be successful and grow your brand/career, as Gloria Vanderbilt said” “I always believed that one woman’s success can only help another woman’s success.”
