November 10, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at
Brave New World: The future of streaming and its impact on consumers, companies, and our workforce
About this Event
A mass migration is under way, of entertainment and information. It’s moving from traditional multichannel video platforms, to streaming and connectivity services that consumers can use to find and experience their favorite content anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
Tech It Out 2020 will examine the technical ramifications of these changes: What does it take for cable operators and programmers to accommodate this transformation? What changes are we making to our technology platforms to support the change? What affect does the move to streaming have on cable operators’ efforts to transform the in-home consumer experience? What’s the impact on back-office, IT, and operating systems? What steps are required to educate consumers about their ever-increasing choices, and how are we providing the customer experience support they need? And finally, how are we staffing up to support burgeoning growth in services, content and consumer traffic?
