EmpowerHer: A Returnship Program for Women Re-entering the Workforce

We're excited to announce the launch of EmpowerHer: A Returnship Program, a collaborative effort between The WICT Network and Warner Bros. Discovery, exclusive presenting sponsor, aimed at supporting women re-entering the workforce after a career break. Think of this returnship as an internship for those interested in returning to the workforce.

As someone who champions women's empowerment, we invite you to share THIS LINKwith your friends or former colleagues who may be interested in re-entering our industry after a two- to seven-year hiatus. To help them with a smooth transition, we have designed a highly immersive program taking place over a two-week period to teach them new skills they may have missed while out on their career hiatus. As a highly successful model in Europe, we are excited to bring this returnship to the U.S.

This program is tailored to women who:

• Are not currently employed and have taken a 2- to 7-year career break.
• Are motivated to re-enter the workforce and committed to learning.
• Have a minimum of 8 years' previous work experience.
• Can commit to the duration of the program and actively participate.

Important Dates:

• June 4-6: The launch week is being offered virtually through a Zoom format.
• June 10-13: Week two, participants will meet in-person at Warner Bros. Discovery's headquarters in Manhattan, ending with a recruiting reception with several media and tech hiring managers.
