What do you love most about your job? I love the ability to help others grow in their career by mentoring and coaching. I feel a sense of purpose. I also enjoy the people I work with. Everyone is supportive and wants to see each other succeed, which creates a great working environment!
What are the biggest obstacles you see for young women in the media, entertainment and/or technology industries? The biggest challenge I feel that is holding women back from overcoming their obstacles is self-advocacy. As women, we need to speak up, negotiate pay, apply for leadership-level roles and showcase our value and experience in opportunities of interest.
What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network? I value the events the most as it allows me to network and meet other great folks in this area. I also enjoy the topics of conversation and speakers that WICT pulls together for each event. The organization has also been great at sharing the DE&I initiatives that we have at The Judge Group, which is very much appreciated!
Since March 2020 I’ve learned… That it’s okay to slow down. As women we are constantly jugging many things in life and multitasking at its finest, but it can take a toll and sometimes slowing things down is what’s needed for better mental health.
My favorite mantra is… What’s meant to be will be
One book, TV show, or movie I’d recommend (and why!) is… Verity by Colleen Hoover. It’s a romantic thriller. I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend.
