EDS Spring Scholarship

Executive Development Series

The WICT Greater Philadelphia Chapter is pleased to be awarding a scholarship for in-person attendance at the 2024 WICT Executive Development Series Spring session on Executive Leadership Presence. This event will take place April 3-4, 2024 (in person only), in San Diego.

The scholarship will cover $2850 for program registration, $1500 max reimbursement for travel and hotel stay. Eligible applicants are Current member of WICT; Senior Manager or above job title with at least at least 8 years of professional experience. Travel must be approved by your leadership.

It will will focus on “Executive Leadership Presence”. Executive presence is the ability to command attention, build trust, and inspire others to follow you. It’s an essential skill for women leaders in media, entertainment, and technology, where the competitive business landscape is constantly evolving. This exclusive program is designed to equip participants with the confidence and strategies they need to excel. They will gain access to a unique toolkit of powerful attributes, skills, and thought processes that will propel them to new heights of success.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Learn the techniques for commanding a room and leaving a positive impression.
Develop the ability to inspire confidence in those you lead as well as in yourself.
Connect with like-minded women, exchange stories and create enduring relationships.

I understand that if I am selected as a scholarship recipient, I will volunteer for at least one WICT event within the next 12 months and will write an article/blog on my experience for the WICT Philadelphia newsletter/website. I also understand that it is my responsibility to receive approval from my management to attend this training/seminar.

I understand this scholarship will cover my registration and reimbursement of up $2850 for program registration. It will be my responsibility to submit receipts for my hotel stay, transportation to and from the conference location, and meals will not exceed $1,500 in total. Any other expenses not listed here or in excess of the $1500 allowance will be the sole responsibility of the attendee.
