Meet Luci Rainey, Executive Coach

 People, passion, and perseverance guide everything I do. As an executive coach, I support leaders at every level—from manager to CEO—helping them evolve their careers, elevate their leadership for promotion, and execute the skills to lead with influence and impact. After 30+ years as a sales and marketing leader across industries—from healthcare to telecom to moving & storage—I launched Day One Marketing Consulting and Coaching to help small and mid-sized businesses grow through a blend of strategic marketing, leadership coaching, and one of my favorite tools: powerful business storytelling.

My career includes executive roles at Fortune 40 Comcast and as Chief Customer Officer at PODS, where I transformed the brand and vastly exceeded business growth goals. I’ve led teams across advertising, marketing, martech, sales and service —always with a focus on elevating the performance of my teams with leadership impact and business results.

I specialize in 3 areas in Executive Coaching: Communication, Business Storytelling and Influence and Career Changes.  

I hold a BA in Journalism from Indiana University, where I remain active in student career development and will join the faculty in Fall 2025 to teach “Careers in Advertising.” In 2020, I was honored with the CMO Club’s Rising Star Award.
