Meet Cecilia, Client Engagement Manager, Turnberry Solutions

What do you love most about your job?

The people I work with—and the fact that I have to interact with so many individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences—challenge me to find ways to understand and collaborate effectively with each of them.

How have other women helped shape your career?

Having lost my mother at a young age, I’ve never had a strong female role model to turn to. However, I’ve always recognized how important it is to have one—both personally and professionally. Through WICT, I’m beginning to connect with accomplished and inspiring women. It’s encouraged me to be more intentional about seeking guidance and to ask for the support I need as I navigate the next steps in my career.

Outside of work, what’s something you are passionate about?

I’m really into sports and travel—tennis is my main sport, but I also love running and hiking. I won my first half marathon last fall and hiked Mont Blanc, which was amazing. I’ve been lucky to visit 42 countries so far, and I try to add a few more to the list every year. It’s such a fun way to stay active and experience different cultures.

What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network?

The opportunity to learn from, chat with, and work alongside amazing, successful women I can look up to and turn to for advice—helping me grow both personally and professionally. And of course, the chance to make new friends along the way.
