Meet Shahbaz, Client Partner, Capgemini

What do you love most about your job?
What I truly love about being a client Partner is the opportunity to build deep, strategic relationships that go beyond just delivering services. I get to be a trusted advisor—someone who understands the client’s business inside and out, aligns with their goals, and helps them solve complex challenges. Every day brings something different whether it’s driving growth opportunities, navigating change, or co-creating innovative solutions.
How have other women helped shape your career?
Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to work with inspiring leaders, mentors, and colleagues. In addition to them a deepest influence has always come from the women in my life. Each one has shaped who I am, not only as a professional, but as a person. My mother, sisters, wife, and daughters have all, in their own way, taught me lessons that no classroom, job, or leadership seminar ever could. My wife has been my biggest supporter and toughest truth-teller. Her insight, resilience, and partnership have helped me become a more thoughtful leader and person. She’s been my sounding board. My wife is my true partner in every sense.
My mother was my first example of resilience and handle pressure. she always led with quiet determination.
My sisters gave me perspective. Growing up with them taught me empathy, active listening, and how to value different viewpoints—skills I use daily in my career. Finally, my daughters have given me a whole new reason to strive for better. They represent the future I want to help create—a world where they can dream big, speak up, and lead without limitations. Watching them grow has made me more mindful of the example I set. They inspire me to build a future that’s more inclusive, equitable, and full of possibility for the next generation.
Outside of work, what’s something you are passionate about?
Outside of work, tennis is something I’m truly passionate about. It’s more than just a sport for me—it’s a way to recharge, stay active, and challenge myself both mentally and physically. It helps me stay focused, energized, and balanced. Whether I’m playing a competitive match or just hitting with friends. It’s taught me valuable lessons in discipline, resilience, and staying present qualities that I find just as important in my professional life. In many ways, tennis has taught me the importance of showing up—with intention, effort, and a willingness to evolve. And that mindset carries over into every area of my life, both on and off the court.
What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network?
What I value most is the sense of community and support it provides. It’s a space where women can uplift each other, share experiences, and grow—both personally and professionally. The focus on leadership, mentorship, and inclusion is truly inspiring, and it’s helped shape a more equitable and forward-thinking industry.
