Meet Tom, Global Client Executive, EY 

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is the opportunity to help people grow and succeed. While I enjoy helping clients solve complex business challenges, the most rewarding part of my role is mentoring and developing future leaders. Watching someone gain confidence, take on new opportunities, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach is incredibly fulfilling. I believe strong leadership is measured not only by the results we deliver, but by the people we help develop along the way. That is what continues to energize me every day.

What do women leaders mean to you?

The woman who has most influenced my career is my wife, Riley. I've had the privilege of watching her build her own career while serving as the primary caregiver for our three children, including one with special needs. Seeing the strength, resilience, and sacrifices that often go unseen has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges many women navigate every day.

That perspective has shaped my leadership style and inspired me to be a stronger advocate for women in the workplace. It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about WICT and its mission to help develop, support, and advance women leaders.

And for the record, my wife is an absolute rockstar.

Outside of work, what’s something you are passionate about?

Outside of work, I am passionate about supporting and advocating for individuals with neurodiverse abilities. As a parent of a child with autism and ADHD, I've gained a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and perspectives that different minds bring to the world. That experience has shaped me both personally and professionally, reinforcing the importance of creating environments where people can be their authentic selves and thrive. It has taught me patience, empathy, and the value of celebrating different ways of thinking.

What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network?

My involvement with WICT has broadened my perspective on leadership and strengthened my commitment to developing the next generation of women leaders. Through WICT, I've had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with exceptional professionals across the media, entertainment, and technology industries, while learning from their experiences and leadership journeys. As an Executive Sponsor, I have found the mentorship, networking, and leadership development focus of WICT to be incredibly impactful—not only for those participating in the programs, but for me as well. It has reinforced the importance of sponsorship, advocacy, and creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed. WICT's mission to build a stronger pipeline of women leaders is one that I am proud to support.
