Jai Schniepp has spent more than twenty-five years building and leading products where the hard stuff—technology, security, scale—meets the human stuff—customers, teams, and real-world value. A product leader by trade and a translator by nature, Jai specializes in managing deeply technical products from a non-technical, outcomes-first perspective—especially during moments of disruptive change. She’s especially passionate about preparing the 2030 engineer—one empowered by strong platforms, thoughtful AI, and an organization willing to evolve alongside them.
As Senior Director of Product, Jai leads a product practice grounded in user point of view, security-by-design, and exceptional experiences. She’s currently building a consumer-focused product taxonomy paired with a product-based funding strategy—because how you organize and fund work matters just as much as what you ship. Previously, she helped lead Liberty Mutual’s adoption of public cloud, partnering with curious, like‑minded practitioners to experiment their way toward cloud-native and continuous delivery practices that move engineers up the value line. Today, that same lens is shaping her work in AI enablement: building guardrails, platforms, and funding models that allow teams to responsibly integrate AI into how they build, ship, and learn.
A dot‑com and startup alum with an MBA, Jai is also a proud champion of brave ideas AND an unapologetic advocate for sharing scars, not just success stories, so we can all get better together. Deeply committed to global equity for women, Jai is a longtime mentor and leader in Women in Technology initiatives. When she’s not talking product, she quilts bold landscape art, finds her center on the lakes of Maine, and spends an impressive amount of time convincing her kids to hangout. She still wants to be an astronaut—and refuses to believe it’s completely off the table.
