Silpa Nair is an engineering and technology leader with over 20 years of experience building high-performing teams, transforming enterprise platforms, and delivering digital experiences at scale. Her career spans software engineering, platforms strategy, enterprise transformation, and organizational leadership, with a focus on connecting technology strategy to meaningful customer and business outcomes.
At Comcast, Silpa leads engineering for digital experience platforms that power customer journeys across the Xfinity ecosystem. She has built and scaled a global engineering organization of 25+ people across the United States, India, and Europe, leading through Engineering Managers and Principal-level technical leaders, while also directing matrixed engineering teams across organizational boundaries. She partners with senior product, technology, and business leaders to drive enterprise-wide modernization and build reusable digital capacities supporting multiple lines of business and global partners. Her teams' platforms and experiences serve millions of customers, including digital experiences reaching more than 8 million households.
Silpa’s leadership approach centers on building organizations and technology platforms designed to scale. Her work spans enterprise modernization, global partner enablement, AI-enabled engineering practices, and multi-million-dollar technology portfolios. She has restructured multi-million-dollar vendor investments to build sustainable in-house engineering capability, generating approximately $3 million in annualized savings while maintaining delivery continuity and strengthening long-term organizational capability.
Silpa is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and creating opportunities for people to grow into their potential. She serves on The WICT Network: Greater Philadelphia Board as Mentorship Director, helping create opportunities for women to build meaningful mentoring relationships and advance as leaders. She previously served as Tech It Out Director, supporting programs that connect technology professionals and leaders around innovation, emerging technology, and career development.
Silpa holds a Master of Science in Business Information Technology from Drexel University. She lives in the Greater Philadelphia area with her family and enjoys traveling, soccer, continuous learning, and staying curious about emerging technologies.
